I was looking for a maths tutor to help my daughter during the latter part of her GCSE studies. Steven Pickett was assigned to her and from the start she found the sessions both helpful and enjoyable. Steven explained things clearly and in a way that she could understand but more importantly allowed her to work through practise questions at her own pace. He listened carefully when she was explaining her workings out, only stepping in when needed or if further explanation or working through a question together was required. Steven would also offer suggestions/alternative methods to simplify things. I am very grateful to Steven, not only did the sessions with him prove beneficial but they really boosted my daughter's confidence.
