I honestly can’t believe this music isn’t famous. From the first track I had the feeling of “where has this been all my life?”. The pieces are beautiful, very melodic, sometimes full of energy and sometimes really moving.L’Accademico Formato play with a lot of warmth and personality – the strings sound alive, and the conversation between violin and cello is a joy to listen to. The sound quality is also great: clear, rich and never tiring on the ears.I put it on out of curiosity and ended up listening to the whole album without noticing the time. This is one of those recordings you want to come back to again and again.
