The elastic on one of the toggles came loose the first time I wore these shoes this week. I managed to work out how to open up the toggle so that I could fix the lace back in place. Apparently they are designed to be opened up so that you can change or replace the laces. However, it was disappointing that one lace came loose the first time I pulled on it to tighten the shoe. It would be a good idea to include a leaflet explaining how to deal with these toggles to avoid customers being disappointed unnecessarily thinking that their shoes have failed.
