I joined the 97&Up group a few months ago and have been absolutely amazed by the quality of the group. First of all, Seth's twice weekly calls have very useful content on business building and accounting topics, and I really like his asides where I can get book recommendations, quotes, and writing prompts to help me grow and think differently. Also, the other folks in the community are extremely giving as well. I am a newer bookkeeper and have had several folks give advice and time above and beyond what I would have expected to help answer my questions and guide me. Kind people draw in kind people :) Lastly, the quick answers I get from the slack group are really useful when I don't want to wait for a scheduled call. Highly recommend this group and Seth!

I moved to California in April of 1999. I had no idea where this would all go, but during my 6 month stay I decided it would be better to stay indefinitely.
I already had my accounting degree so finding work was not going to be an issue. That was one of the main reasons I chose accounting - I knew I could always find work.
The other BIG reason I chose accounting was that I liked to organize things. This is still true today, but it looks different.
