I rented an apartment in Dubai for a week through a service. I had to pay upfront when booking and received self-check-in instructions indicating I could check in from 3 PM. However, the day before my departure, I learned that the self-check-in option was no longer available, and the service only provided agents for check-in between 3 and 8 PM. Since my flight arrived much later, I had to book a hotel on very short notice and check in the next day. This was by far my worst experience with a rental. I cannot speak for the service as a whole, but the branch in the UAE seems to be misleading customers.
