They promise they follow Equal Housing Laws in Utah. Then at the last minute, they pull their scam card, and it's called a "rental score.""Rental Score" is a made-up thing that they use to scam fees for applications and sell your data to non-US data brokers. This gives them any excuse to deny leasing an apartment. They get, on average, 10 applications per day. $40 per application is $400 per day and $12,000 per month. This is a bigger profit than renting the property, which is priced at $1,000-$1,500 a month. Sadly, this is the practice of most "property management companies" who not only hire potential terrorists in other countries who can steal your identity but also finance their real estate purchasing, acquiring more and more properties with stolen money from Americans to perpetuate more application fee scams.Their (made-up) rental score is illegal in Utah, and it's an attempt to circumvent the laws for Equal Housing opportunities. Credit Scores (including Christians who do not have credit scores) are also illegal to use against renters for qualifying.
