Klea Harris
Ten stars for the right fit

I have been with NLBM since 2019 and have built my solo practice to become more than I hoped for. I have never seen an organization or leadership team so aligned and responsive to core values and integrity. When people reach out to me and ask about my experience, especially about the price compared to other options out there, I always think back to a promise I made to myself. Every month I would give myself a gut check and ask myself if I received that amount in value, or if I was able to engage a client I otherwise would not have, or if I was able to price my services in a manner that paid for the membership that month. If I went three months without passing the gut check I would reconsider my membership. Without fail, NLBM always passes and continues to pass the gut check. Not just that, but I can say sincerely that I would not be in business right now without their support, resources, community, and coaching, being a solo is just too lonely and too hard. The personal development I have experienced has empowered me to become the best version of myself personally, not just professionally. I love the community non profits, government and bar committees I am part of, I am not just an EP lawyer, I am a vibrant professional woman heading into my 50s. I will not be invisible. I will be relevant. I wouldn’t say NLBM is for everyone, it is for a certain type of person, I think someone needs to be very thoughtful about the kind of personality they have and what their core values are before they commit. I absolutely can tell if someone won’t be a good fit. That should be the question if someone is disappointed in their results. It isn’t the system or the process, it likely has more to do with the individual fit.
