I wanted to order some back copies of the Eastern Daily Press. I had to e-mail them, they replied with ring a number which I did. They took my details with a promise of "We will get some one to ring you to take payment and then we will post them onto you" Well after two further phone calls over 14 days, I was told,"We'll get back to you" "I'm chasing it" but still nothing. In the past you simply walked into Prospect House on Reuen Road in Norwich and bought them over the counter and if they were not immediate, you ordered them with an option of collecting or posting them out to you.You cannot do this any more. The latter option took a matter of about two days for the papers to arrive in the post. No, Newsquest have decided to make it as complicated as they can for the reader and one is getting fed up with empty promises. A pity because the publication its self serves the community well and in its columns it takes a balanced view in its opinions. However, customer services are poor
