Based on our developer's recommendation, we made a quick decision to change solicitors as we were promised NFL could deal with our new build house purchase at speed. We are so glad we did. NFL were fantastic from start to finish. It was great to see them using portals and online systems to upload/share key information (rather than clumsy word documents and emails) and Charlotte Murphy and the team were highly personable, professional and efficient. Between Charlotte and the developer's progression team they made the seemingly impossible possible: we completed within 15 days of instructing NFL and as a consequence we didn't lose our Early Repayment Charge on the mortgage (we completed on the 90th day deadline!). A side benefit of using NFL was they were fantastic value as well. Overall, at the end of a long, stressful and hectic house selling/purchasing journey, NFL restored my faith in conveyancing, got us into a home weeks before I thought we could be and saved us £1000s.
