I originally looked this company up as I was after a quote for my front garden of my new build. On the day I sent my enquiry someone called me asking for availability. I was advised that 24 hrs before the visit, they would call to confirm the appointment - to which they did, and this is where it went horribly wrong. I was called by a random mobile number to which I was greeted with, " just to confirm the appointment for tomorrow and that you wife will be present". I said, no as I had told the original person I spoke with the week before. He said, well that changes things because we rely on you calling us back as statistically if your wife is not present then 1% call us back where as if your wife is present 95% call us back. I said, what if I was single then? To which I got a reply of, "well that changes things doesn't it". He then proceeded to ask who I has spoke to as they would be "severely dealt with" and I went on to say "hold on it's not his fault its you being all aggressive in your sales pitch, and my wife wants a new driveway and she has given me her brief". He said but there are thousands of options and she needs to be there. He kept saying that its company policy that the wife is present. What an absolute joke. I asked if he was sure that he did not want to attend, even though their quotation is free of charge and no obligation!) Having seen now on other reviews very similar tactics, but also some very negative reviews in general, I have dodged a bullet here. DO NOT DENY any of this, you told me your calls are recorded. I am making sure other innocent potential customers do not fall foul of your techniques. I am sorry you would have had to travel 80 miles to do the quote - in which case don't advertise FOC no obligation quotes - this is FALSE representation. You have wasted my time!
