My coffee connoisseur friends finally convinced me to upgrade from my cheap coffee grinder that sounded like a 747 taking off.Firstly, the machine is beautiful and looks fabulous in the kitchen. No cheap plastic like my cheap grinder and a toggle switch for operation which is just so satisfyingly tactile to use.Secondly, the machine is so quiet when operated. This is a standout feature among all the models I looked out. My previous grinder was over 90db, this one is more than 20db quieter. When I operated my my previous grinder, conversations stopped. But with the Niche, you don't even need to raise your voice to continue your conversation.Finally, it does what you'd want a good coffee grinder to do... it grinds coffee really well! I can't say I notice the difference to my previous model that much, but it's much more precise controlling the grind so I can get the perfect puck for an optimal draw.On an aside, I dropped Niche a line with a query and I got a quick and helpful response.It's an expensive machine, but you get quality that looks like it will last. Highly recommended!
