Don’t buy from Nick Scali Swindon.

Don’t buy from Nick Scali Swindon.Terrible customer service! Sofa ordered in October and paid in full. I have since received a text message from Nick Scali telling me my sofa was due to arrive ‘in the next few days’ on January 2nd. As a result of the text we had our old sofas collected on 12th January. Now on 25th January we still don’t have the delivery. Our delivery has been split into two orders, neither of which have been delivered. We were never informed it would be two delivery’s either. It took me to chase Nick Scali 3 times to find out it would be 2 deliveries.I have since had 2 more texts informing me that the delivery is due ‘in the next few days’ - weeks apart. After finally losing patience I asked to log a complaint by sending an email to the store.I received a call from the Manager (I believe he was called Steve) who was eager to tell me that my sofa was due any day and should be delivered this week. This was not what my complaint was about. It was about the poor communication, texting customers that they are due a delivery ‘any day’ when the sofa wasn’t even in the country and 3 weeks later still not delivered.Steve also called me ‘lovely’ and ‘mate’ on this call which I find to be very derogatory and rude considering I have never met this person. Why is he using pet names like ‘lovely’ to speak to customers? He also declared that Nick Scali had not text me and it’s an automated system - essentially calling me a liar. I have screenshots of all texts recorded and clearly stating they were from Nick Scali. My complaint was simply to say that they should not be texting customers that their delivery is imminent if it’s not due for weeks. This would then not cause their customers to dispose of their old items. We are now without a sofa for 3 weeks at least. He would not log or acknowledge my request to log a complaint and when I told him he was ignoring the purpose of the call he got short with me, repeatedly using my name and stating that he is in fact not ignoring me. My complaint has now been ignored on email and on a telephone call.If I could get a refund and take my business elsewhere I could.Steve needs some training on customer service. Calling customers ‘my lovely’, not acknowledging any form or complaint and subsequently calling them liars is not acceptable.AVOID
