This is our local Nisa, in Dallam. Although the working staff are great, prices are over the top, multipack beers sold at a separate price (pretty sure that’s against rules - what should have been a £10 multipack was being sold £1.50 per beer instead, defeating the purpose of buying in bulk), most of the foods go out of date the next day or even same day without any discount or mention of it, all dated food stocked in the same place and lastly half of the packaging is damaged leading to foods falling out in the carrier bag or floor. It is a shame, I’ve lived here all my life and once upon a time, I couldn’t have reviewed negatively, however it feels that Mike no longer cares about good custom or fair practise. I am also aware that the shop was broken into a while back, I feel this has massively affected Mike and other staff, understandably, however not everyone deserves your ‘wrath’. I understand you can make a lot more by selling them individually but it is also against the law when it says not to be sold separately. Also there is a fairly big fella in there that to be honest smells quite badly (not just a one off either). If you were hungry before you went in the shop, you no longer are coming out - really plays with your senses.
