Having been diagnosed with Long Covid I suddenly found myself bedbound and unable to move. I had gone from being an active person lifting weights 4x weekly, HIIT training and power training to suddenly being unable to lift my arm or even blink without pain and fatigue. Being house-bound and consuming too many calories meant the weight was increasingly snowballing out of control. I reached out to a number of people but hired Nishti as I felt her holistic mindful approach matched my worldview and style of thought. From the beginning Nishti made it her mission to seek a deeper understanding of not just my weight gain but also the deeper more nuanced aspects to my relationship with food. Nishti deployed an array of interventions and suggestions to help ME gain insight into my long-standing issues with my relationship with food. Reflecting back on the journey with Nishti, I had managed to deconstruct my previous toxic relationship with food and rebuild a more sustained and healthy relationship, that's all I really wanted. That's the overview of my journey, now in terms of Nishti and the way she manages her clients I will set it out in pros and cons as opposed to long winded paragraphs. Pros: - Supportive, motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated (putting it lightly).- Excellent listening skills.- Doesn't tread outside of her scope. of knowledge but will refer if needed. - Evidence based but also holistic.- Kind, genuine, hilarious, loving person with a transparent. down-to-earth personality.- Genuinely cares about your journey and the outcome.- Flexible payment plan.- Aims to build solid repor.- Knowledgeable.Cons: - Occasionally our sessions lacked framework with a clear objective. - As I explained to Nishti, I would have preferred a session summary following each meet and then focused and reflected on these objectives in the next meet. - Occasionally (but rarely) lacked a keen eye for the small detail (sometimes important). Overall, I have no regrets I chose Nishti to work with as my initial gut feeling turned out to be true, the genuine desire to help is without doubt there. Considering Nishti's approach and all her qualities and traits, they come together to produce an outcome of support so deep that you feel she is on the journey with you, you don't ever feel alone, and that for me was key. 🗝️ Upon reflection I am satisfied with my outcome and deeply (deeply) grateful for all the help I received, joy we shared and above all, for meeting such a wonderfully kind person in this world 🌎💙🙏🏻.Kindest regards,Charlotte
