My best friend ordered Maia in 2022 as a gift for me. Around 6 months later the product became faulty so this was replaced by Nomisk without question. 6 months after that the replaced item became faulty, and we got in touch with Nomisk to ask for a replacement and we were fobbed off and told they would only give us a 40% discount off a new device as we were now out of warranty (let’s bear in mind both the original and replaced product have not lasted beyond 6 months each time). My requests for a resolution have been ignored and I’ve had no other option to take it further. They do not respond to any of my emails and I feel it is important I highlight my experience as my best friend is now out of pocket by a lot of money with a product that doesn’t work as intended. I’m pretty sure we have some rights here. No option but to go the legal route now as they are refusing to engage with us despite several emails.
