My wife bought me the raven boots for my birthday and I was skeptical because I usually only wear sneakers and boots usually hurt my feet or give me blisters on my heels. First thing I noticed was the smell when I opened the box, it smells like real leather not that plastic chemical smell you get from cheap sites which was a good sign that she didnt just buy me junk. They were a bit stiff the first day but after walking around the house they broke in nice and now they mold to my feet perfectly without rubbing. Now they are my go to shoes for going out to dinner or just walking around town because they look sharp but feel rugged enough that I dont have to worry about stepping in a puddle. Sizes run a little big so maybe wear thick socks if you are between sizes because I had to tighten the laces a bit
