If you gave it a positive review there’s a possibility that you might come back and change it because you won’t know until you are charging unknowingly. Either don’t buy or contact them for cancellation immediately and keep the book

I ordered a physical book from Nordastro.com and received the product as expected. Regardless of whether the book itself is good or bad, I did receive the physical item and used it.

However, during checkout I was unexpectedly enrolled in a recurring coaching subscription that was not clearly presented. I did not intend to subscribe to anything beyond the book purchase.

I was later charged over USD 90 for the digital subscription, which I never accessed or used. I did not knowingly consent to a recurring service, and there was no clear payment management section in my account where I could review or manage the subscription. Additionally, the “Contact Us” function on the website did not work properly when I initially tried to reach support.

When I contacted customer service, I was told the subscription charges are non-refundable due to policy, despite the fact that I never used any of the digital services and canceled immediately after discovering the charge.

Customers should not be surprised by recurring charges when purchasing a physical product. Subscription terms must be clearly disclosed, and there should be transparent payment management options available in user accounts.

I hope this review encourages improvements in transparency and customer protection. Maybe as a warning to stay away from buying service from them. I had 5 emails replied saying the same thing even with a video efficiency that there are no way to manage payment or cancel manually or that the contact button didn’t work. They still try to swindle their way by saying “A video of your attempt” changing the their words from “technical difficulties” before. I find it very morally questionable. Trying to be polite with this.

Edit: Reply what's the point of enaging and replying from the Nordastro team if both a reply here an the contact email does nothing and just repeat what we wrote and say no they will not look into the situation after 6 emails all day...
