Disappointing & a lack of customer care.

I purchased a pair of socks & I was then given an option to purchase 5 pairs at a discounted price - 50% reduction. I made a mistake with my order & purchased the wrong socks, which arrived a few days later. I informed them of the error & apologised. The response was patronising & I was told to pay for the returns ( i understood this as it was my mistake) but then I was also expected to now pay full price - £40 instead of £20 & pay again for postage. This would mean my mistake cost me £30 extra. This felt unfair & unreasonable. I hope with this feedback, they can rethink how they respond to future customers.
