Frustrating Experience with Stock Issues

I placed an order for socks on November 28th, and the website indicated they were available at that time. However, I received an email last week stating there were stock issues and that my order wouldn't be fulfilled. The message offered a refund, order change, or the option to wait, which felt automated. I opted for a refund but haven't received any updates since... I'm really disappointed, especially since I ordered them early to ensure they arrived before Christmas.
