I chose to place my first order with Norman Records, when looking at the recent limited edition Halloween soundtrack releases on vinyl for the 40th Anniversary of the original movie.Although there was an issue with stock from the supplier, which was absolutely no fault of Norman Records, they did keep me updated along the way.Once stock was received and shipped, the care and attention given to the vinyl and the delicate outer box for the set was simply amazing. It was like they care about the vinyl just as much as I do.I also felt like I was treated like a valued individual when I received replies to emails, instead of the standard 'copy and paste' type emails that most companies tend to send now-a-days.To top things off, they also took responsibility for another unfortunate issue - which I expect many other retailers have kept quiet about....An item I ordered along with these was found to be faulty by the label that released it. Before I saw the details of this error on the internet, I had received an email from Norman records informing me of the issue and asking my permission to forward my information to the label to ensure that I'm sent a replacement as soon as it is re-pressed.So thank you to everyone at Norman Records. This was such a wonderful experience, a revelation in many ways, compared to some of the situations I've had with other retailers.I just wish there was a way to open the eyes, ears and minds of those that fail so badly at the little things which make a huge difference to the end result.
