We stayed at a beautiful house in Denmark. We had a fantastic stay. The check in was horrible, however, because we should have picked up the keys to the property at the Novasol office in a city about 15 min away. This was not communicated to us. After we received the statement about our consumption, we were shocked to find out that we were charged almost 600€ for one week of stay. They did not provide us with any sufficient proof about the meter readings. They didn't take any photos of the meters. Unfortunately, we didn't either at check -in ( probably because we were so upset about the difficult check in experience) but we do have pictures of the reading when we left. The numbers they provided us with do not match with our numbers. It is questionable that the numbers at the beginning of our stay are correct as well. They probably read the meters after they cleaned the house and used up more electricity and water. I shouldn't have to pay for consumption when I already pay for the cleaning.Beware of a very high consumption bill. We arrived at a house that was extremely hot with all the heaters turned up to the highest level ( in the middle of the summer). We turned off all heating for the entire week we were there BUT the pool heating, which we were not allowed to touch. It was set too high and we were asked to open the windows to regulate temperature. It is absolutely beyond me how 600€ supposedly were accumulated.They demand we pay the bill without any sort of proof of our actual consumption.I will not book with Novasol again!
