Due to increased fire concerns and a fire rating change in Arizona where our build site is located, we opted to abandon our stick framed housing plans and look at a steel home alternative. After researching and discussions with multiple steel building companies we chose to contract with Nueco Systems and start the design of a Barndominium.Initially I had some concerns with Nueco as they had a couple of unfavorable reviews. I reached out to Ron their Arizona designer and asked if we could meet in person. Ron addressed my concerns and gave me the confidence to go forward with Nueco Systems.We immediately started the design process where I found Ron very informative, open minded and patient in helping us create our vision in a Barndominium.Along with Ron's design and very thorough Engineered plans, the permit process was quick and seamless. Another plus was the entire build kit showed up to the build site on time as scheduled.
