I bought a waist band with Nurabeam that promised a free gift with a subscription. I canceled my subscription before receiving the gift because I noticed my coworker was charged $800 the day after she received hers (this subscription clearly stated I can cancel at any time). While the company confirmed that cancellations are allowed at any time, they also said the “free gift” is only sent if the subscription remains active for 30 days — a detail that was not clearly disclosed upfront. This is misleading, and the risk of a huge unexpected charge made it impossible for me to participate safely. Be very careful before subscribing, and make sure you fully understand all the terms of any “free” promotion - even when the terms are not clearly available to their customers.
