We are an independent family run business that was established in October 2006 and have been supplying quality solid wood dining, living, bedroom, and home office furniture as well as quality sofas and armchairs throughout Cambria, South West Scotland and the North East of England from our 5000 square foot store in Workington Cumbria, where you can see, touch and feel the quality of our furniture Monday to Friday 9 am-5 pm, Saturday 10 am-5 pm and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm.
Throughout the years, we have gained a reputation with our customers as a supplier of competitively priced, quality home furniture, with many customers recommending us to their family and friends.
We are a well-established independent business with experienced staff and pride ourselves on the level of service provided, we know a satisfied customer is a happy customer and that is our main priority, along with providing quality furniture for your home that we are confident will meet your expectations for not only quality, but value too. You may also be pleased to know that all our ranges of solid wood furniture originate from managed forests to maintain sustainability and help protect our environment.
We have teamed with the same leading suppliers for many of our ranges for more than a decade, giving us confidence in knowing that every item of furniture has been manufactured to high standards and has passed strict quality control checks to ensure customer satisfaction. Having said that, we don't live in a perfect world, so if there is an issue with any item purchased from us, we will replace it as soon as possible at no cost to the customer.
Throughout the years and with ever-increasing experience, we search the market to bring you the most up-to-date furniture trends that meet our company goals, so you get the best choice at the best price possible.
For online orders outside our local area, we use experienced national couriers that provides a two man delivery service to the room of choice with options for assembly and removal & recycling of the packaging, so you can sit back, relax with nothing to do except admire your new furniture. We also have a returns policy should you decide not to keep any of the items.

In 2016, we teamed up with the World Land Trust, an international conservation society, and pledged to plant a tree for every sale that we made to help deforestation and assist ecosystems and wildlife habitats to recover. The campaign went well, with many trees being planted in the Mount Kenya Forest Reserve. In 2016, we were proud to sponsor Race for Life, which took place in Carlisle, Cumbria, to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. This was a great success; everyone had a great day and raised valuable funds for this worthy cause.
Other causes that Oak Furniture UK were pleased to sponsor, are our local junior football teams, and junior rugby teams providing them with full strips, and for the past eight years we have been proud to support Circus Star who are a charity organization that raise funds to send disadvantage children to the circus who would normally not get the chance to do so.
