NEVER do bad reviews but this experience has been dreadful!

I purchased the bottle with pride, hoping that the bottle would be of high quality whilst making an impact on the environment. I have previously bought reputable branded water bottles but this time I thought I was doing more by supporting work towards the environment. The bottle itself looked great but as soon as I started to use it, I noticed that the promise of keeping your drink warm was an absolute lie. I only drink warm water so I needed a bottle that would continue to keep my drink warm. I immediately recognised that it wasn’t keeping my water warm for 6 hours like they advertised. I wrote to them to complain as their return policy doesn’t allow you to return the bottle if you’ve used it - which I was shocked by! I had a quick response but not straight forward. Emails went back and forth between us as they wanted to know more information about the issue - even though it was quite simple. The bottle doesn’t do what they advertise it to do.They wanted me to count how long the water stays warm, swap lids with the other 2 lids that I had purchased on top of the actual bottle. They now said it only keeps drinks warm for 3-4 hours with the original lid but with the brew lid, it stays warm for longer (again - that’s not the impression you get from their advertising) I don’t have the time to sit and count the hours the water stays warm. All I know was that within the hour, the water was significantly cool. They offered to replace the lid - which I questioned because they had also asked me if the bottle was warm to the touch with hot water (as according to them, this was a sign the insulation was not working) - it was not warm but they only offered to replace the lid. Absolutely disgraceful and appalling customer service. Would not recommend to anyone!
