We traveled with Offbeat in March of 2024 and it was absolute perfection from start to finish. We toured the Colonial Zone in Santo Domingo, and then headed to Paraiso Cano Hondo in Sabana de la Mar. It was a perfect place to relax and we very much enjoyed the eco lodge and how beautiful everything was! We then took a boat tour of Los Haitises National Park. We got to travel through mangroves to caves that had actual pictographs and petroglyphs! We spent time on the beach as well during our trip and enjoyed local food and drinks. I can't stress enough how wonderful and well planned everything was! Skip the all inclusive resort next time and have Offbeat Travel plan it all for you. Their incredible staff will take care of everything and you won't regret it!
