I enjoyed my time with the 10-days Philippines East tour. It took the stress out of planning and figuring out the different types of fees involved and the logistics for transportation and accommodations in the different locations. The tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. It just so happens we had a tour guide trainee along with us and my group was small - only three of us. We were definitely well taken care. :-) For example, during the Moalboal part of our tour, a typhoon happened which got downgraded to a tropical depression. The weather was unpredictable, but our guide and his trainee kept us updated and safe. Once the weather cleared up, our guide did his best to get us right back on track with the itinerary. He also provided us optional activities that were not a part of the tour’s itinerary in order to make the most out of our visit to the eastern part of the Philippines. Overall, I got to see a unique and beautiful part of my parents’ home country, and reminisced a part of my childhood through all the Filipino culture, food, and language. :-) Thank you Bono and Kevin! You guys went above and beyond to make the most out of our time in the eastern part of the Philippines. Last, after completing the tour, I had a few days on my own in Cebu before flying out to go back home. The weather behaved, and Bono was able to make Cebu City Highlights day tour, Oslob whale shark watching, Tumalog Falls, and Kawasan Canyoneering a reality for me. I had a great time :-)
