I recently purchased the OnePlus Pad 3…

I recently purchased the OnePlus Pad 3 and was excited to try what looked like a premium productivity device. Unfortunately, the experience as an Australian customer has been frustrating and deeply disappointing.Unlike the U.S. version, the Australian Pad 3 comes with none of the key accessories. The keyboard — a must-have for anyone looking to use the tablet seriously — is not included, and worse still, it’s not even available to purchase in Australia. The Stylo 2 and case, both included for free in the U.S., are instead sold separately here for $99 and $50, respectively. Even the charger, which comes standard in the U.S., is missing from the Australian box.On top of that, Australian buyers are only offered the most expensive model — 16GB RAM and 512GB storage — with no lower-cost options available. This lack of choice, coupled with missing accessories, makes the overall value proposition incredibly poor for Australian customers.Perhaps most disappointing is the misleading messaging. Influencers who received early review units showcased unboxings where all accessories — keyboard, Stylo, case, and charger — were included. Many of them also mention the tablet working as an extended display with a Mac. These features helped build anticipation, but the product Australians receive is clearly not the same. The tablet does not support extended display functionality with macOS, and the box contents are bare by comparison. It’s disheartening to commit to a pre-order only to discover after the fact that you're getting far less than your overseas counterparts. At the very least, OnePlus should make the keyboard available for purchase — or better yet, include it, especially for those who supported the product early on.Right now, the Pad 3 feels like a great device wrapped in a poor experience. I hope OnePlus reconsiders how it supports its Au customers.
