The worst support experience I've ever had

I bought a OnePlus Open at release and it worked until the start of this year when the inner screen developed a fault. It was accepted for repair, and SBE received it to begin working on it.That was on the 12th of January. Two months ago.Like many, I've been repeatedly told that there are no spare parts, but what those in charge of OnePlus support don't seem to comprehend is that this is THEIR hurdle to overcome, not mine.The law asserts that they must complete their repair in a reasonable amount of time without causing unreasonable inconvenience. They have completely failed at this task, yet my requests for a refund or a replacement have been essentially ignored.Most recently, I've been told that spare parts will finally arrive around the middle of this month, meaning I can realistically expect another two weeks at least on top of the eight I've already waited.As a result, I'll never buy another OnePlus device, having rated their phones ever since the OnePlus One. All that consumer goodwill totally wasted for no good reason.And if anyone from OnePlus support sees this, please don't reply to confirm what I've already noted about the spare parts, thank me for being patient, apologise without doing anything to help, or offer me a voucher for an online store I've no desire to use.If you actually want to help, arrange a refund or a replacement. It's hardly that much to ask given how egregious this situation has become.I'll also note that I've looked into legal action and will move in that direction if a suitable resolution isn't found fairly quickly. Given how many similar stories I've heard from OnePlus Open buyers (and the terrible rating on this site), it's clear that something needs to change to get them to see just how badly they're missing the mark.
