OnePlus not honoring Trade-in : Running a scam

OnePlus not honoring Trade-in - charging $230 per phoneWe have been Loyal OnePlus customers since the 1st phone launched over a decade ago. That is coming to an end as OnePlus will not honor and rectify their mistake.We bought 2 OnePlus 11 phones on launch day and did the trade-ins like we have everytime over the last decade.Case ID: 230224-000430Leo Smith customer support executive did nothing to try to keep us as customers. Actually he has been delaying sending us return shipping labels for our Full refunds.Our trade in was only worth $30 for the phone. Then we got a $200 bonus since we watched the launch live feed and ordered 2 phones on launch day. Then waited 10 days before they even shipped out which was ridiculous.We bubble wrapped both phones and sent them back in the boxes the 11's were shipped in on the same day. 1 phone got there on Monday, the other 3 days later on Thursday.Our 1st trade-in phone they claim has a screen issue. They now want to charge us $230 additional. Not $30 which is the trade-in value of the phone but also the bonus $200 for a total of $230. So that will be $460 for both phones. They even provided a picture of the phone screen from inspection and it is in perfect condition. Leaving us scratching our heads as we know the screens are in perfect condition.What a scam. Our trade-in phones are in perfect condition, both inside and cosmetically. The screens look like they did the day we got them. They look brand new as we use heavy phone cases and built in screen protectors.Now we are seeing tons of people who are getting scammed by OnePlus with trade-ins as well. OnePlus is not honoring their trade in value so we are returning both new OnePlus 11 phones for full refunds because we are in the 15 day return warranty and have communicated that with them through their online chat and email.OnePlus is not a very savvy business. They will lose alot of money off us and every referral we have provided. OnePlus now has multiple phones that are going to be returned for full refunds. Losing money on shipping, sales and now these phones can't be sold as new because of the covid era and they are returns.OnePlus could have kept us as Life Long customers if they tried to rectify and just charged us $30 for the value of the phone trade-in they refused but they went too far and greedy charging back the $200 Bonus as well. Again, phones were in perfect mint shape. We will sell them when they return them to us We will no longer be One Plus customers ever again.We have also notified all our friends we have referred to OnePlus over the years about our nightmare and they will not be buying from OnePlus any longer.Now taking our complaints to the online boards, social media, etc. Will be our Life's mission to make sure we can get as many people to not buy OnePlus products.We will go back to Samsung Galaxy s23 UltraThis whole ordeal has pissed us off and has left a very bad taste in our mouth.
