All Customer service can say is they don't know when it will be fixed

So far it's been 12 days since they've had my phone. It needs a new battery and charging port. I sent it to OnePlus thinking it would be a quick easy fix however 12 days later I'm phoneless and they do not have an ETA on when they might even get the parts they need to fix my phone. They had said in an email they hope to have it fixed by Friday which will mean they will have had it for 15 days if they do actually get the parts to fix it. The fact that they have no control over their supply chain of parts for the size of the company that OnePlus is, is worrying. I can't say I will be buying another OnePlus phone in the future due to the lack of service. I now wish I had gone to a local repair shop that could have got the parts in 3 days however wiping the warranty. Before I got given the possible 5 days for the parts to arrive all customer service would tell me is that they will update the tracking portal when they get the parts. It's been escalated the the "higher" team who also don't have a clue how long it will actually take to get the parts. 220828-005586.It has been a further week and there has still been no new information provided by OnePlus despite several emails. I have asked support to refund me for the charges to fix the device and send my phone back to cut further losses as I don't think this will ever get resolved at this point.Since my last update, it's now been 25 days since OnePlus have been in possession of my device. The first time I requested my device be sent back is around a week ago now. I have been told it's with the "higher" team and to allow them time to resolve it. However, as I've requested it be sent back 3 times now I take this as a straight refusal to send back the device in the same condition they received it in. At this point, I'll just be thankful if I get my phone back at all.Final update. I have my phone back not fixed and all data wiped. Possibly the worst experience I've had with a company. Will not be a returning customer.
