I was asked to pay for the prescription before the Lloyds Doctor authorised the prescription to be dispensed. In the event the prescription was eventually authorised anyway after further Q&A with the Doctor but it was not good to be refused a medication that I had already paid Lloyds for.Matters were not helped by the fact that the Wells Putnoe, Queens Drive, Bedford Branch of Lloyds failed to answer the telephone at all on the morning of Friday 16th January when I called to see if the prescription was ready, despite several attempts to ring them.
