⭐ 1 Star – Poor Quality Turf & Difficult to Deal WithI ordered Rye Gold turf for a live landscaping job and unfortunately had a very poor experience.The turf supplied was not of acceptable quality. The rolls were breaking apart during normal handling, crumbling when lifted, and could not be laid to a professional standard. This resulted in significant wastage and forced the job to be halted mid-installation.There were also issues with delivery. The order was split over two days, and one pallet was left kerbside/in the road, causing access problems. Although a second delivery was later placed correctly on a smaller pallet, the company refused to guarantee this method again, despite it clearly being possible.Communication was frustrating throughout. The issues were repeatedly downplayed as “normal”, and instead of resolving the problem properly, I was pushed towards a partial refund which I didn't accept or approve for defective materials. They agreed to send a smaller pallet replacement free of charge and then emailed again retracting the offer. A workable solution was never confirmed.In the end, I had to source replacement turf elsewhere to complete the job.Overall, very disappointing — particularly when dealing with time-sensitive work. I would not use again.
