Update: after posting my Trustpilot review Onuia said to email them, after which I was offered a full refund if I were to change my review. If they keep their word I will increase my rating for their customer service. First of all, I fell for their dishonest advertisements on social media saying that they are going out of business and doing a final close out sale. After I quickly made my purchase thinking they may run out of stock very soon, I discovered that they have been making this claim about going out of business for many months (I found one of their advertisements saying this dating back from February 2025). Furthermore, after making my purchase I discovered a nearly identical website selling the same products under the name “Softnss” using the same dishonest sales tactics. Onuia claims their towels are luxurious, plush, “triple the thickness of store brands,” but what I received are the thinnest and lowest quality towels I’ve ever bought and do not look plush/thick like the pictures on their website. The bath mat I received also does not match their descriptions or pictures; it is also very thin with very poor stitching and loose threads all throughout. They also cut the tag off of the item (which is against U.S law), probably to hide what it is actually made of and the real country of origin (which is China, not The Netherlands). Onuia claims to have a 30 day money back guarantee, but they hide the fact that the buyer is responsible for return shipping all the way to China (which was also shocking to learn considering their claims to be based in Amsterdam). After requesting a full refund due to false advertising, Onuia responded with offers of 10% followed by 15% partial refunds, which I declined. I also refused to spend easily 50+ dollars of my own money to ship this large order all the way to China. All in all, STEER CLEAR OF THIS WEBSITE!!
