It is a nightmare to get a refund from Optum Rx. In error, they deducted $900 from my account for a prescription that totaled $230. I noticed the error when the amount posted to my account. Of course, I contacted them immediately, not being naive to think they would contact me. I have made multiple contacts with Optum trying to get this resolved and my money has yet to be refunded. With each call or chat, I am told two to three days and the refund will be in my account. Well, that surely did not occur. I filed a complaint yesterday but my guess is that will tossed in the circular file. My next move is to the billing department. With such incompetence, how do they remain in business??
