I recently purchased a home and the seller purchased this warranty. I made a claim to let them know I had an issue with my oven and answered the questions honestly, including when I noticed the issue: the issue was present the moment I initially viewed the home prior to purchase. The representative placed the claim and collected $100. The serviceman came out very quickly and was confused because the representative documented the wrong issue. After updating the serviceman of the actual issue, he diagnosed the problem but needed to order a part. I later got a call from the representative who asked the same initial questions which I again answered the same way. She then said it was pre existing condition and it’s not covered but would not return my $100, even though it was her failure to listen and understand. I contacted this company again and explained my issue and requested they pull the recorded calls and asked if a manger could review it to see that their company was negligent in placing a claim that was clearly explained by me. I was told they would review the recorded claim call and contact me with resolution the same day. It’s been days and I still have not received a call. I plan to cancel this service and purchase on my own through a reputable company.
