I am 56. I have been a regular crossfitter for over 15 years. Due to getting an autoimmune disease PMR I had to stop all activities for 18 months and take prednisone (steroids) to treat the condition. After 18 months I had lost a lot of my strength. I contemplated going back to crossfit but felt like there was something else out there for me. I found the X3 system and did the 12 week program on my own. It was exactly what I was looking for. It quickly restored my strength and was very efficient. I noticed in the X3 Facebook group certain individuals seemed to be progressing faster than others. The ones who were being coached were hands down doing better. I tried to piece it together by myself thinking I just needed 1 more piece of information or watch 1 more video and I’d have it figured out. This just wasn’t happening. I talked to Kevin and Dan with OG Aesthetics and decided to give them a try. Looking back I now see I would have never figured it out on my own. I was 100% carnivore for almost 2 years. I thought that was the answer. They tweaked my diet, my X3 band routine and adjusted daily steps. These changes were like rocket fuel. I dropped almost 20 lbs in 2 months. For the first time in my life I now have abs. I ran across my military records when I was 19 and fresh out of basic training. I actually at 56 weigh less than at 19. After a little more than 2 months will be moving to a bulking phase. Not only did these OG guys trouble shoot and get me on the right track. The OG community is awesome. So many like minded individuals and a steady stream of new exciting useful and practical ideas. This has been one of the best decisions/ investments I have ever made.
