I have been an online student for the past 4 months. It has been a developing and exciting journey, and I have learned far more than I expected. We started out by playing songs from sheet music, and at the same time we filled in on music theory. Once the foundation was in place, we started working on listening to the notes in different songs. In the beginning it seemed completely impossible that I would be able to learn it, and the first song we tried was also really difficult. Fortunately, Oscar is an incredibly patient teacher. But after a few tries, it was as if it all started to make sense.I think that the strength of Oscar's teaching is that he turns piano teaching kind of upside down. You learn to really listen to the music and the notes it is build from and understand how it is put together. By working in this way you gain a more in-depth understanding of the music and its structure.I can really recommend you to take a course with Oscar.
