I placed a WANTED ad and paid for promotion in what was advertised as a highly visible area of the site. Five hours later: zero views. The ad didn’t even show up where any reasonable user would expect it. When I reached out to support, I was casually informed — after my payment was processed — that WANTED / SWAP ads do not appear in the main section. This vital information is not disclosed before payment, not prominently, not transparently, and certainly not in a way that would prevent someone from wasting their money. Let’s be clear: The platform took my payment My ad was effectively hidden I received no views And only afterward was I told “that’s just how it works.” To make matters worse, customer support was dismissive, rude, and ultimately ended the call instead of providing a resolution. Such contempt for paying users speaks volumes. This is not a misunderstanding — it’s a systemic issue. The platform: Accepts payment upfront Fails to clearly explain how ad visibility operates Sells “promotions” that can lead to zero exposure Offers no accountability, no transparency, and no meaningful remedy That is not honest advertising.
