How I wish I'd found these reviews three weeks ago! I hardly ever make on-line purchases but felt confident a well-known company like Asics wouldn't pose any issues and anyway I always check the returns policy first so how bad could it be?Order for trainers placed Tues 29th June (OUTGB33415398) but not dispatched until 6 day later (Mon 5th July) even though website specifies standard delivery of 5-7 days.Order delivered Thurs 8th July, nine days after it was placed (and here is where the real trouble begins!)I couldn't even get my feet into the trainers because of the integrated tongue; the aperture just wouldn't open wide enough. I tried several times per day for a whole week to generate the returns label but got an error message every time (over 30 attempts).Eventually, I contacted customer services on-line explaining the situation and received an automated response with a case number (956486); another week has now passed and I have had NO response!The phone-number is no use either; just automated messages.At this rate, the 30 day returns window will come and go and I will be left £66 out of pocket. Could be worse but it looks like I'll be passing the case on to Resolver or the Ombudsman in the hope my money is returned.
