Ben managed to lose a potential customer for good today (11th Feb 2026) with his harassing and arrogant approach to sales.He has been harassing our company on and off for a few months at our worse time of year (preparing for and then undergoing our financial audit). Ben is already aware from our conversations that we have little need to buy FX and if we do, it is very much on an ad-hoc basis in small quantities. This does not stop him from begging to know the values of our last purchase so he can pretend he could have done a better deal. I really don't have time to look for him at the best of times, but I am in and out of the office at the moment due to an impending close family death. Ben was arrogant enough to suggest that "surely I would have 2 minutes at some point for him over the next few weeks." Ben, I literally don't know one day to the next what I am doing, my priorities are my family and if I am at work, then my priority is making things as easy as possible for my colleagues to deal with my things in any absence. You are way, way, way down the list of priorities. It will take far longer to look for the information you are after as I'm not even sure we ordered anything in 2025. When I asked Ben to remove us from his database, he was very pushy to know why and for an explanation of how he had "clearly offended" me. I'm not convinced he will action the stopping of calls to our office.We have little need for FX and have a great relationship with a firm that understands this. Our chosen provider is competitive but we value customer service just as highly as getting a few extra quid from FX rates. We are now certain that Oval Peak will not provide good customer service and we are looking to block their calls going forwards.
