We had an extremely negative experience with Ovation Tax Group and strongly urge others to proceed with caution.
We paid this company $9,500 in full on November 15th after being promised they would resolve our business and personal tax issues. From day one, we did everything asked of us—submitting every required document promptly and, in many cases, multiple times. Despite this, we were repeatedly told they “never received” our documents, even though we have clear proof of submission.
Months went by with little to no progress on our case. We had to chase them down for updates, and communication was consistently poor. When we finally demanded answers, we received a call that felt more like gaslighting than customer service—deflecting responsibility instead of addressing the complete lack of results.
This company made big promises upfront, collected a large payment, and failed to deliver on even the most basic expectations. At no point did we see meaningful action taken on our behalf.
We have since hired an attorney to pursue recovery of the $9,500 we paid, and we have also filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Based on our experience, we believe this company operates on misleading claims and lack of follow-through. We would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice before trusting them with your money or your tax situation.
