The quality of the desk was poor. There are a lot of scrapes which indicate that people are rushing and not handling things with care. A lot of the holes were not cleanly cut. When assembled, in particular the chair the pieces felt flimsy. The instructions are completely wrong and unclear. The parts and the number are incorrect. Parts are missing, and extra parts that are not used are added. I am in the process of seeing if there is something I am missing, so I am not 100% sure yet, but it seems that the holes that connect the seat of the chair to the base of the chair are missing. The company brands itself as "Oz" and has an Australian phone number and email address, but they are clearly not an Australian company. Ultimately I don't care where a country is based, so long as their customer service is good, their shipping is good, and the quality of the desks/etc are good, but it's clear to me that they are deceptively trying to appear as an "Australian company" because Australians know that this generally indicates high quality and professionalism. I would never have bought this desk knowing that it was not Australian made. That may sound harsh, but this is after years and years of bad experiences with cheaply made "stuff" made in Asia.
