I used Packtpub years back and it was painful then. I just tried the free trial again and it's so much worse. And new device I login on it tells me to pay for the books on anything I lookup. I try again later and it's a lottery as to whether it works or not. For a website that specialises in serving books to explain how to make good IT content it's really quite embarrassing.Thankfully their authors are better than the people build their website, if you can live with often things just not working and not getting what you pay for, all good really. Obviously some books are better than others, but some are really good.Overall, go to O'Reilly, it's a real no brainer to pay the extra, you get all these guys content and much more and none of the incompetency of Packtpub.
