Page Publishing is a scam and their employees are highly unethical. I paid over $4,000 and got a never-ending cycle of delays, excuses, and missing deliverables. The process dragged on for more than two years, and then, with the project still not finished, they demanded an extra “renewal fee” to continue. That’s scam behavior: pay more or we won’t deliver what you already paid for. I paid it anyway just to remove their excuse, and it still didn’t fix anything. Scam on top of scam.
What makes this even worse is how many basics I still didn’t receive. I never got the printed books that were supposed to come with the package. I didn’t get the final, sale-ready ebook files you actually need to sell an ebook in stores—just an old draft-type PDF that’s not usable for real distribution. I was promised editable/source files more than once and never received them. The cover process was never properly completed with a final cover package. The “author website/page” and promotion help that were part of the pitch never materialized in any meaningful way. Even simple author name/metadata issues weren’t cleanly and consistently handled across the final materials.
Every time I pushed for what was owed, I got deflection like “it’s in the portal” or “contact your coordinator” instead of them simply delivering the files and finishing the job. My assistant reached out repeatedly and we still couldn’t get it resolved.
I’m calling it what it looks like: a scam, or at minimum a scam-like business model built around upsells, stalling, and holding your project hostage. Do not sign with them.
If you’ve also been scammed by Page Publishing and you already have a lawsuit (or are considering one), reach out—this should be a class-action.
