Painters solicitors were involved at the bottom of a short chain during my house purchase. They took 6 months to complete on a property that took me under 3 months to purchase. When criticised they double down in support of their solicitor. We waited weeks on end for action and only ever got any responses on a Friday. Obviously meaning the process takes 5 times longer. Petty enquiries towards the end and poor communication further delayed the process. Really bad firm full of their own self importance.
