The hotels look very nice. The food is good, but not great. Poolside drinks are decent enough. We liked it enough that we got talked into buying a membership. This was the worst decision my wife and I ever made. The incentives offered in the sales presentation were misleading, as they had fast expiration dates. All the very expensive membership contract is good for is a so-called discounted rate on the all-inclusive, which are basically available to anyone anyway on travel sites such as Expedia. DO NOT GET SOLD A MEMBERSHIP. They wow you with the opulence of the hotels and sell memberships that are overpriced. Also, the contract is only enforceable in a Mexican court. They offered to take our timeshare in trade and failed to actually process the paperwork. This cost us two years of maintenance fees paid up in advance inclusive of the inability to use the corresponding paid stays per Palce trade requirements. Bringing the issues to their attention, they attempted to steer us into using a disreputable broker who does not have an actual business address. The broker called me to discuss my concerns. It was apparent he was a scammer. Palace Elite memberships are not worth the thousands they charge.
