Booked a pallet shipment because the quote page clearly stated private customers are accepted and no EORI number is required. That information was reinforced in the service details.After payment, I was told the shipment could not proceed under those conditions unless further requirements were met, directly contradicting what was shown at checkout. This led to repeated back-and-forth emails and shifting explanations. The team handling emails constantly deflected and ignored points and were generally not helpful. No collection ever took place, yet cancelling and obtaining a straightforward refund was unnecessarily difficult, with pressure to accept cancellation charges or account credit instead. The issue isn’t the carriers that are used by Pallet2Ship, it’s the misleading quote page and poor handling from customer service once the problem was raised. Private customers should be extremely cautious and get written confirmation before booking. Better to spend some time to look to competitors who have clear conditions which arent hidden away in buttons or T&C's or quote pages which are misleading. Update 26/01 --Nikki from the team has contacted me to help resolve this issue and offered me a full refund due to the issues with the inital booking. I was satisfied with her assitance in this matter. It's a shame that the rest of the team that I dealt with were not as helpful.
