Horrible experience with pallet2ship.Ref: 10005198027My seller booked a shipment online, was quoted a price, and paid in full. Only after payment was taken was we told the service booked was allegedly unsuitable and that I would need to pay significantly more (double) to proceed or change carrier. These restrictions and extra costs were not made clear before payment.When I cancelled within 24hours because the service could not proceed as sold, pallet2ship refused to issue a full refund and instead kept 40% of my money, despite no collection or delivery taking place.They have attempted to classify this as a “customer cancellation,” even though the issue only arose after payment due to information not disclosed upfront from a misleading website. I am now having to pursue a credit card chargeback to recover the remaining balance.In my opinion, changing requirements after payment and retaining a large portion of the customer’s money is unacceptable and borderline criminal. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before using this company.I obtained a better service at less than the original price from another provider. Steer clear of this lot. Update to pallet2ships response: It’s sad to see that not only do they retain 40 percent of my money for no reason whatsoever. Now they tell lies about verbal abuse and police investigations? Absolutely deluded people. I’ve never heard the likes. I am the receiver of this package leaving this review. Not the shipper. at no stage did I speak with them on the phone nor was I anything other than respectful via my email correspondence. I hope the 70 pound was worth it. You clearly need it more than I.
