Wish I’d seen these ratings before ordering the worst pizza and customer service I’ve probably ever experienced! Never order from Kings Lynn Papa Johns!Ordered a pizza online. No estimate time given so was prepared to wait and followed the tracker. After 45 mins it said it was cooked and then suddenly updated by the store to say It was with me and had been delivered. Pretty instant and I thought maybe a glitch so I’ll wait 15 mins. Nothing arrived. I phoned the store. Spoke to the most useless employee ever. Gave my address and post code and he repeated back random road names. I said I’d give him the order number. He didn’t listen. Then said my pizza will be with me in 5 mins. Wasn’t impressed.Pizza gets delivered. Stone cold. Poor toppings. In fact it’s an insult to even call it food and a pizza. Asked delivery driver why it had been sitting for 45 mins after being cooked. He replied ‘we were busy’ and got back in his car and drove off.Called the store again to complain and spoke to the same useless server to get a refund. Was told to wait until after 9pm when a manager was going to call back. I said no please do it now. He refused and said two managers were in later and they would call. Lo and behold no call. I submitted a complaint online and told the store were investigating. Days later get a reply from Papa Johns customer service with the usual poor copy and paste saying sorry we didn’t provide good service but rather than refund you for not having quality food and service, here is a free medium pizza code. Like I am ever going to order from this store or Papa Johns again when this is their approach to customer service, how they allow stores to under perform and managers who cannot take responsibility or accountability for poor standards. Awful. Needless to say I replied saying I won’t be taking them up on their offer of another cold, poor quality topping pizza (oh yes I ordered extra chicken - and for that you get 10 very small pieces of chicken slung on). No wonder Papa Johns has such a poor rating. Still - we can only hope they go out of business soon. My advice - go to a better quality and standards pizza place like Dominoes. I’ve never had an issue with them and wish I’d never given this place a try. And no - never got a refund. Poor poor service.
